I feel terribly that that this woman got the skincrawling Creep Treatment (or, at the very least, the Overstepped An Imaginary Boundary Treatment), but I’m not the least bit surprised this happened. In fact, I can’t believe it doesn’t happen more often! Maybe it does but no one is talking about it?

Well, they should. I’m sure the Foursquare people are nice and all, but what they’ve invented is a Stalker Road Atlas. An all-you-can-eat buffet for those who lean toward the creepy.

I love my online social networking toys as much as the next person, but if you think I’m ever using Foursquare, or GPS-tagging my tweets or my Flickr photos, or putting my phone number on Facebook, you’re out of your fucking mind. Why not?

Because it’s stupid.

Stupid. Oh yeah. Majorly dumb. And dangerous. Canceling the one or two GPS-based options that never made much sense to me in the first place. Oy.
